The Tibia Mariner is an optional undead boss that navigates a shallow marsh in Summonwater Village using a boat. It summons additional undead enemies during the fight, making it essential to manage both the boss and its minions.
Description
The Tibia Mariner is a spectral figure who appears and vanishes randomly during combat. Its abilities include summoning undead warriors and performing area-of-effect attacks. One such attack involves raising its boat out of the water and slamming it back down, creating a shockwave that can stagger or damage nearby players.
To counter the Tibia Mariner effectively, use weapons or abilities that deal holy damage, such as the Sacred Blade Ash of War, which also helps dispatch the summoned undead.
The Mariner has additional attacks, including:
- Horn Swing: Swings the boat’s horn (used as a paddle) in wide arcs.
- Boat Slam: Lifts the front of the boat and crashes it down on the player, dealing significant damage.
Note: There are multiple Tibia Mariners scattered throughout the Lands Between, each with slightly different challenges and rewards.

The Tibia Mariner in Summonwater Village is considered an easier boss encounter. Its attacks are slow and predictable, and the summons can be quickly dealt with using holy damage. The main challenge lies in avoiding its AoE shockwaves and managing the undead minions. Having access to holy damage significantly reduces the difficulty of this fight.
